Hey all-

I’m 5 months out since I’ve been off birth control and still nothing. This month, my breasts swelled and were painful, I’ve had mild nausea, and I felt what I thought could have been implantation cramping last week. My period is due in 2 days, this coming Saturday or Sunday (4/14 or 15), but I couldn’t help but try and take a couple of pregnancy tests. I took one a few days ago and one this morning, both extremely negative... not worth showing. But, I can’t help it - I see the stats on the box: “50% of women found out they were pregnant 5 days before their period!” - and so I think it’s worth a shot.

In the end, I’m wondering how many of you or someone you knew actually had a positive test before they missed a period? I’m of course, starting to lose hope that this month could be the month because of my negative tests, but maybe it really is next to impossible to have a positive test before a missed period?
