Mirena birth control?

Anyone using Mirena have any tips on what to expect when i get it if i decide to get it. What was your experience with it and what are some pros and cons about it?

I’m using ParaGard. So it’s similar to Mirena except that ParaGard has no hormones. The insertion is the same. Just be prepared to feel a lot of cramping. It’s worse if you haven’t given birth. The feeling is terrible. I almost fainted. But every body is different. I just could not deal with birth control pills. The hormones drove me crazy for almost 6 months.
