How to measure cervix?

Hi,
I want to start switching to a menstrual cup, and I’ve been reading that you should measure your cervix during your period to purchase the right type. How do I do this? What should I be feeling for? Thanks ladies!

The most common way to measure is to just measure with your finger. You insert your finger and feel for something that might feel like a nose. When you find it and your finger was only in to your first or second knuckle you have a low cervix, if your finger was in all the way or not quite you have a medium cervix, and if you had to bear down or push to feel your cervix then you have a high cervix. 
Its best to check when you are on your period because your cirvix moves throughout your cycle, and these are just a guide because everyone has different sized fingers.

You stick your finger up there until you can feel a little bump (some people say it feels like a donut) and that's where your cervix is. It's kind of cone shaped so you should be able to feel around it

It is really just to measure length. I bought a fairly small cup first and darn near got it lost. If I has checked first I would have known to get a larger one.
