Is anyone ttc after a recent MC but that has not had a period yet

So sorry for your loss. Hugs to you. I recently experienced a missed miscarriage. Got as far as 13 weeks and didn't find out until our first us that the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks. Had to have a d&c yesterday because my body was showing no signs that anything was wrong :(  I know we'd like to try as soon as it's safe again. Our doctors told us that there is no medical reason for waiting because your body will ovulate when it's ready to conceive again, but that waiting for at least one cycle will help them with determining dates. I don't think I've ever wanted my AF so much before. Wishing you a speedy recovery and for AF to visit you soon!

Dr. Told me to wait until I had 1 cycle then we can try again. I would really rather start right away. But  sure it's best to wait and let everything heal. Also wondering how long we need to wait to BD after a MC.

Sorry to hear about your mc. My sister had a mc and was told it was safe to try straight away. I personally would straight away but it's your decision Hun. GL

So sorry for your loss Ashley. It's a very painful experience. It took me two months to get my period. I was so excited to see af. My doc said to wait 2 cycles but I've heard that as long as your body is ready there isn't any need to wait. I would just follow your docs advice.

I was 12 weeks pregnant and we lost the baby June 29th. Still haven't gotten my period. Dr says it could take up to 6 weeks from the time you stopped bleeding from the miscarriage. However, you could ovulate in the meantime and get pregnant before a period. So disappointing to have to start all over again :(
​I guess it's OPK's until either AF shows up or a positive OPK!
