Dating a man with children?

What’re your thoughts on this? Personally, I’ve always stated I would nevvveerrrr! But then the men that have been entering my life lately have children. One has 3 kids(like a 10 yrs old, ). Another has a 4 year old and a newborn baby.

Why wouldnt you date a man with children? Its only like being a single mom and wanting a man to take on you and your child? So why judge a man based on that? To me its not a problem ..

I dont understand how women say "I'd never date a man with a child"... So you fall in love, have a baby, and later on in life your relationship doesn't work out. For the sake of u and ur baby, u go ur separate ways... Then what? is no man expected to date you because you have a child? Should you be destined to be alone and deemed a "never", purely based on the baby/s you've had previously? That's a horrible point of view in my opinion..
Everyone deserves love. And if they've had children and are good dads, that earns them more respect if you ask me. Never base your decision about someone, on whether or not they have children. That isnt right. Base it on them. The person they are and how they treat you. That is essentially what matters.

I wouldn’t. The mom is always going to be part of his life. I especially wouldn’t date someone with a new baby - sounds like he has not been out of that serious relationship for long, and it does not bode well for future relationships if he’s willing to get women pregnant then leave.

You date them but not only are you dating them your dating their children as well and all the baggage that comes with like the children's mothers (whom you will have to learn to get along with because that is their mom and she deserve respect). 
It's very simple a man will date a single mother so why not date a single father?

Honestly I wouldn’t. And I have kids of my own. But I just don’t want to be bothered with someone else’s kids. I love mine, so I’m a little biased, but I’m not a kid person.

I would date a man with kids, but only if they’re under 8 years old... after that, it’s way too hard to bond or even parent the child that is already use to life without your influence.

I thought I'd never get myself into this but I did, I fell in love with my man and he has a 4 year old son and a 13 year old daughter. I never questioned myself "do i wanna be with him since he has kids?" I loved my man and I knew I wanted to be with him. To me i wasn't worried, I loved all of him and his kids grew onto me. His 13 year old and I got along well, same as the 4 year old. They're now with their mother and I FaceTime the kids here and there and talk. If you want things to go well instead of wrong then you must CHOOSE to do so, and don't do it out of force...do it because your heart feels it. if not then I say no go, don't pretend. The kids mother on the other hand I don't speak to. sometimes you try to get along with people but they just can't do it for some reason Idk why, so I just don't speak to her but I take care of her kids well. I only care for the kids not her she isn't my problem. I keep out of my man and her problems too. sorry, long read.

I would but I also already have two kids and even before I had them I always knew I wanted to be a mom. If you don’t like kids or you know you never want them then don’t do it. If the relationship becomes serious then you’d want to be able to have a relationship with the kids. If, however, you’re open to the idea of having kids, or if you at least like them and feel you’d be okay parenting them even if they aren’t biologically yours, then go for it. But also only if he’s a good dad who makes his kids a priority. You don’t want to end up with a deadbeat and then regret it down the line (not saying every single dad is a deadbeat because that’s NOT the case).

I know plenty of blended happy families. No issue unless you make it one. My niece has 3 half siblings and I consider her siblings family as well and my family does everything to make them feel included. Family isn’t always blood & if you find a good man who cares if he has kids all that matters is if he’s a good dad & if he’s a good man in your relationship! I would personally however be cautious with a man who has multiple kids from multiple women (that’s what happened to my sister) unfortunately all my nieces half siblings are from different women & he seems to have no problem getting women pregnant & leaving/cheating & now my sisters a single mother who gets crap child support because he pays support for 3 other kids.
