so i just got a new bf and want to be protected but i am not a good candidate for hormonal birth control. Got all the symptoms especially HAIR LOSS and migraines which I do not wanna go through again!

So anyone with the copper IUD, how has it been? Good or Bad? was the insertion painful? I have also read that some women experienced copper toxicity which is scary but rare. Any tips to prepare for the insertion? I am so hoping this bc method works for my body! 🤞
