Diaphragm/cap + male condom?

I haven't had sex with the bf yet but I'm just looking into methods to stay protected. I'm 20 and I don't want to go on hormonal bc and I don't want an implant. Will using a cap/diaphragm/female condom (no gel) and a male condom work with the pull out method? I know that nothing is ever 100% but I just wondering

Up until last week I was using a diaphragm with contragel (you can buy it from amazon.com because it’s not sold in stores) Spermicide always irritated me causing burning pain and itching after sex. The diaphragm worked great though for about a year. I just got tired of having to insert it before sex and the gel got pricey too. I have 3 kiddos and was breastfeeding so didn’t want hormonal birth control because in the past it has stopped my milk supply. My youngest is almost 1 and 1/2 I just switched to the mini pill and my milk is still flowing just fine. You should try a diaphragm and see how it works for you though.

I also can’t use any hormonal birth control for medical reasons. My boyfriend and I use male condoms only right now, and I am interested in trying a diaphragm with spermicide instead. I have read that most failings with these barrier/spermicide methods is user error, so I plan to practice with the diaphragm before using it alone. I am also at a life stage where I could have a baby, just don’t want to, so I am OK without 100%.

Theres more than just the implant. Pill, implant, patch, ring, IUD. Theres an IUD thats not hormonal. Sounds easier to me than having to use a condom and female diaphragm every time.

Also Idk what your reasoning for not wanting to be on hormonal birth control is but if you were on the pill or something you wouldn’t have to feel nervous enough to both have to wear condoms and a diaphragm and pull out

That’s a lot of contraception lol. You could just use the male condom and if you’re really feeling nervous the pull out method along with it
