I cant breathe?

I have been having this happen for the last week of so it almost feels like something is squeezing my lungs also with heart palpitations , so I’m out of breath it last maybe five -ten minutes and it feel like I just ran a marathon, I don’t know If I should go to the doctors because last time I went for something similar (sever cheat and lung pain, caused from my birth control) I was treated like a crazy person who just wants drugs, so I don’t know if I should go wondering if anyone else has experienced this
