Anyone experience vaginal discharge??

Question

Hi I’m almost 36+ 6  week and saw some brown discharge on my pants. I think it is the mucus plug, but I am a FTM and not sure about what to think. I had a lot pf braxton hicks lately but nothing painful. I just think that is my cervix getting ready for labor and nothing I should worry about.  Last Tuesday my OB said I was only 1cm dilatated. What do you think? Anyone due the first week of may experiencing something similar?

I’m thinking that you are losing your mucus plug. Not too much longer, Mama! Try to relax and listen to your body.

Update: last week it looked like I was progressing 2cm dilated and baby dropped. Not sure how it happened but after today’s appointment my baby is up high in my belly again, and no dilatation... starting to get anxious

definitely slowly losing your mucus plug.. I get a lot of discharge but not like that .. my OB says mine is normal amount (showed her my panty liner) but yours looks a little more and it's also darker. almost there!!!
