Does it matter the time of day you take a pregnancy test?

I say doesn’t matter because I took a test first thing in the morning every morning for a week AFTER my period was already late, and they all came back negative. On day 8, the test was negative again. I was out all day doing errands, I was drinking a lot of soda and water. I finally get home at 11pm and immediately use the restroom. As soon as I get done I get the feeling I should test again. So I wait like 10 minutes and test again with the little pee I have in me and that one came back positive. Retested the next day and got more positives.

depends how far along you are.. you can get the same result as first morning pee if you wait 3 hours and don't drink anything.

It does depend. If it’s after a missed period then doesn’t matter, or shouldn’t matter... I got positives at 2pm and 8pm at 7 days late...
If it’s before a missed period then first morning urine is better
