I went to the restroom today right before taking my lunch break and had a ton of brown discharge, like the kind you get when starting your period. Although I didn't have cramping or contractions, it totally freaked me out, so I called my doctor and was told to come in immediately. They did an ultrasound, fetal stress test, and vaginal exam and everything came back normal. Little boy was moving around and had a good strong heartbeat. My doctor had no explanation for it other than it happens sometimes. I'm really relieved it appears to be nothing, but it made for an emotional day.
