Contractions anyone? 28w

I have been experiencing contractions for a while now. It’s my 3rd baby so I though this where just early Braxton Hicks. Turns out they are not. I am having way to many (20-25 per day) and BH should be 5-8 at this stage. So now I am in bed rest which sucks because I have 2 toddlers at home!! And taking medicine to stop them.... actually very afraid of pre term labor.. anyone been thru something like this before?

Now I’m worried I should call my OB! I was planning on talking to her about it at my appointment on Tuesday. I have also been having frequent BH, probably similar to the amount you are having. I actually timed them tonight and there were about 10 in an hour. They weren’t painful, but tight and uncomfortable. Hopefully, nothing changes and I can hold out until Tuesday.

I’m on medication to stop preterm labor. Still do daily activities but try to keep it minimal. This is my 5th pregnancy.

Currently 28w3d myself and I get far more than the 5-8 a day!
But I notice I only get mine if I change positions too quickly when I’m laying down. Or when I go from laying down to standing up too quickly.
I was in the hospital almost 3 weeks ago because of a kidney issue & because I told them I was getting “abdominal tightening every so often” then ended up hooking me up to the fetal monitor but it never picked up any contractions if I had any.
FTM here so even I’m not sure if it’s normal. But they’re never close together, so I think it’s okay for me?
