Have you ever been to a cooking course for singles?

I don't know where to meet potential partner, but I love to cook and I always wanted to attend a cooking class, so I thought that this could be a good place to meet someone I might find something in common with.

What is it like? Is it fun? Who usually goes there? I've come across classes for singles in the age of 25-45 (or even just 45+), which is a bit too much of an age difference for me. I'll be 25 this summer and I'd like to meet guys who are closer to 30 than 40.

I understand it depends greatly on the country and city, but I was wondering if someone has experience with something like this
