Formula cost?

How much is formula for the first year? I'm on WIC but I understand they don't give you enough formula and you have to pay out of pocket for any needed formula.

If wic covers 4 cans (usually similac or enfamil from what I've heard) you may have to buy 1-2 more. If baby tolerates those brands easily there are plenty of genetics that have the same formulation and follow the exact safety regulations that you could use as well. My son needed the enfamil added rice formula so we used the target up and up added rice and it worked great for him and instead of $24.99/can it was $16.99. Costco makes a good generic as well as walmarts parents choice brand. All of them compare to similac or enfamil.

Wic covers 4 cans of formula a month, you will only have to buy 1-2 cans for the baby a month! I wish I qualified!!! My husband makes about $100 a month over what they cover, and I am having twins :/ I could use it!

My sister was on wic and she actually had a lot of.extra formula left over when he stopped drinking it. Never ran out I think it depends baby to baby. Some have bigger appetites than others
