How far along were you when you told your parents?

I really can't decide when to tell our parents!

after the US at 8w we tell family then end of first tri we go public

since i have a reputation for ruining mothersdays every year ( one year i accidentally opened a giant sinkhole in the backyard,  another year i had a huge fight with with my mom and moved out,   anither year i forgot)  and since she isnt too happy about the idea of me having a baby,  it seems perfect lol.

I’m planning on telling them Thursday at 6 weeks if we see/hear the heart.

I personally have not told anyone I didnt NEED to( boss, a couple coworkers due to where I work and hubby) because we had a miscarriage at 12 weeks last year, rifht after we told family. This time, we are waiting until about 16-20 weeks if we can

I'm telling my family immediately, I figured whether I wait and tell them or tell them now I was always pregnant...if by some chance that changes and I lose the baby...then I will have a big support system there...instead of people asking me "what is wrong?" then having to explain why I feel so bad, just to hear "why didn't you ever tell me you were pregnant?"...why hide it you're always gonna be pregnant I'd rather have those who support me know and can pray for a safe and healthy growth

I just realized that mother's day is May 13th! I'll be 8 weeks and we'll tell our parents then. Think will be my mom's 6th, but his mom's 1st!

my parents are divorced, i’m telling my mom at 6 weeks. and i’ll tell me dad shortly after. want to do it in person so trying to arrange timing.

I'll probably wait until I announce to everyone. Hoping yo hold off until we know the gender. Not close enough to my mom to care when she finds out, but it'll be hard keeping it from my dad

We are sharing with my parents this weekend, and in laws. Only parents..then after the 7 week ultra sound the rest of immediate family, 12 weeks everyone else

We were going to wait until the 12 week scan but it seems so far away (only 4w4d) and we're so excited and don't think we can wait that long! So going to tell my mum and in laws tomorrow, and my dad's birthday is coming up next week so going to surprise him then :)
