So we just had our second loss within four months yesterday... the first time was in December when the baby measured 8 w 4 d and was suppsed to be 9 weeks.... then I went in yesterday and was supposed to be 9 weeks and measured 6w5d. I had a D&C; in December with the first miscarriage and it went fine with minimal bleeding and I healed well. I can’t believe I’m going through this again just four months later ... anyway my doc recommends the D&C; again Bc she said she feels the pills or passing it naturally will be too traumatic for me which I guess I agree with. On the one hand I don’t want to deal w cramping and heavy bleeding and see the baby in the toilet on the other I’m worried about the risks of having two d&cs; so close to eachother. I asked about risk of scarring she said they don’t scrape they use a suction so there is not gonna be scarring. I’m just so upset as devastated. Anyone had two d&cs; in a row and able to still get pregnant afterwards with a healthy baby???i never thought I would have one miscarriage let alone two this is just like a bad nightmare. Also surprised I haven’t passed it yet as if I lost it 6 weeks 5 days ago and today I’m almost 9 w3 days that means it’s been three weeks of carrying this dead baby in me and not knowing it. Ugh! I would think it would have come out naturally. I also wanted to test it as the first one I didn’t and they said Bc it died almost three weeks ago the tissue might not be viable. Is this accurate??
