Hey ladies,

I need some serious advice and pointers. I have always had super kinky curly hair. It was never super thick, but I always had enough of it. About 2 years ago, I noticed my hair was falling out in the shower by almost handfuls. Y’all, it was bad.. I went to the doctor, and I found out I had Hypothyroidism. So, I’ve been on medicine since then and I’m tested every 6 months. I already had trouble with my hair because it wasn’t very long. Now, I seriously cannot wear it down. I haven’t been able to in over 2 years. I’ve tried biotin, prenatal vitamins, castor oil, coconut oil, home remedies, and Monat hair products... everything!! Nothing is working. NOTHING.. what do I do? It is so depressing. I have an identical twin sister, and her hair is almost elbow length while curly and it’s beautiful. It’s to the point where she wears her hair up just so I don’t feel so down. I try to sleep with it down, and I don’t wear harsh pony tails, only scrunchy type bands. At the longest (which are the side pieces) my hair is to my shoulders.

If the good Lord just doesn’t want me to have hair, then fine.. But what the heck do I do with it?! I seriously feel so ugly. To me, my hair is what makes me feel beautiful. And all I can do is wear it in a ugly bun all the time. It’s not the product, it’s the lack of hair. I literally have patches of hair that are only a few inches long on the back of my head. Seriously.. help y’all.. I’m out of options. Any hairdo options?¿

PS.. extensions wouldn’t worn because there’s no way I can find good extensions that match my hair. And my hair frizzed so bad that you would be able to tell.
