Abnormal pap?

I have been having abnormal paps on and off since last summer. I had one today and my doctor told me that she thinks it's just my age that's why I'm having this outcome. I'm 21 and I was just wondering has anyone else had this issue or is still currently having this issue? My doctor also said if it keeps coming back abnormal than they will take further measures.

I think she should have looked into it the first time. I had an abnormal pap a few years ago my doc looked into it right always found out I had cervical cancer. I had to have cryosurgery and lazer removal. That was about a year ago. I'm currently cancer free but I only have a 10% chance to conceive. I have a pap done every 6 months now. Next time you see ur doc ask if she will look into why you are having abnormal Paps.  I wish u the best of luck with everything.
