When to start birth control

Hey, today i was given BC called levlen Ed my doctor didn’t tell me how to start or when to start. My period isn’t due for two weeks on Wednesday (today’s Monday) how do I quick start? I’m getting them tomorrow (Tuesday ) from the pharmacy. Please help I’m so confused

everything you need to know is in the pamplet your birth control comes with.. read it and you'll know when to start the pill

It's now recommended to use quick start, which is starting it right away, and you just use extra protection for the next 7 days.

That’s what I was on 😊 just start the pack at the time the brochure says to, but I’m fairly certain you can just start mid cycle no issues. Just know it takes a week (from memory) to take effect so be careful.

It might be different for the type you have but for me I started the day I got my period
