Birth control

I just got engaged and I have a son who is 13 and he has 4 kids ages from 14-8.. he just informed that he wants to have a child with me when we are married... I’m not opposed but I will have one and a half semesters left of school till graduation after we get married..

back story I have been a single mom to my child for 13 years it has just been me and him... I don’t want to overwhelm my son as this will already be a huge transition!

So I am currently on the Nuva ring for regulatory purposes.. but my doc suggested an IUD.. I’m not sure about an IUD???? Pills are not an option cause i forget.. the patch irritates my skin.. i haven’t had sex in 10 years... i am going to guess that we will be doing it like rabbits( haha) It would only be for at least the first year or two to finish school and the adjustment period for all the kids...
