Starting my first day at new job UPDATE

So, I got a new job and I'm super excited. I dont go in for 3 and a half hours but I already cant wait to clock in. I'll be working in a daycare/preschool and I can't wait to meet my coworkers and my new little buddies to look after. I'll be in the infant room for a couple days and after that I'll be in a 2-yr old room :D There are older kids in the preschool and I'll most likely be trying to prepare the 2yr olds for preschool if I'm allowed to by teaching them songs and rhymes to learn stuff. I'm so happy. I can't name the daycare for security reasons but if your babies and kiddos go there I seriously cant wait to meet them and you and take care of them for you while you do your jobs and such. I love kids and I've always babysat but I've never worked in a daycare with this many kids before. I think I'm gonna love it and I hope the parents and kids understand how much I care.

update! I LOVED IT! I was in the infant room (6weeks-1yr) for the first 3 hours. It was me, the lady training me, and five babies. From the empty cribs and cubbies I saw that there were 2 babies out sick and several of them had runny noses and coughs but I was told they had all been to the doctor recently about it. So that was okay. AND THEN CAME THE 2 YR OLD ROOM

JK I loved that room too!! It was all little boys and let me tell you! GENTLEMEN! ALL OF THEM. I passed out their snacks and when I asked them to throw away their empty cups? THEY ALL MADE THEIR WAY TO THE TRASH CAN. I only had trouble getting them all back over to the rug but they eventually did and played with blocks for a super long time. It was so fun and I loved them all so much. They were so sweet and fun to spend time with. I managed to get a little boy to pee in the toilet and apparently it was the first time! I feel like this comes naturally to me, although I guess that's because all of us have a maternal instinct to a certain extent. And my coworkers were AMAZINGLY NICE which was actually the main thing that scared me before starting. Anyway!

Any advice?
