Stop testing?

This might be a dumb question but once you get a positive/peak on an opk you’re supposed to stop testing, right? Last month I was using easy@home strips as well as Clearblue digital. I got a positive on the cheapies but was still only getting a flashing smiley on the digital so I continued testing with both and ended up with 5 days of positives on the cheapies which just confused me. This month I’m only using the cheapies and I got my positive this morning so should I assume I’ll ovulate within the next 24 hours?
