Any advice - from a lonely woman

Any advice would be appreciated. Tonight I got all dressed up in my hubby's favorite naughty outfit hoping to ttc; we are coming up to almost a year. Our doctor has recently taken cultures and sperm test but we are waiting on results. In the meantime doc said to keep trying but don't use lube or saliva. Well halfway into baby making hubby couldn't so it anymore, said it was too rough. I felt hopeless, if this is what it's going to take to make a baby why isn't he on board with it? Why can't the new experience be a new experience? Yes it was painful going into new positions but after that it was fine. Now I don't have a lot of arousal fluid, and we aren't suppose to use line or saliva so I'm just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? I felt completely unwanted tonight as he just wanted to stop and fell asleep. I tried to wake him up later but I got rejected...after going to the bathroom I'm now turning to you gals. I just don't understand, he wants a baby but he wants it his way...which hasn't worked so why isn't he up to trying something new if that's what it takes? Any suggestions for someone with low arousal fluid and can't use salvia or lube? Has anyone else been told by a doctor not to use either?
