Birth control?

Not sure this is the right group to ask in, but I had my baby January 7th, and have held off on getting any birth control. I’m starting to consider getting on it because I’m terrified of getting pregnant again to soon.. has anyone gotten Nexplanon (the one that goes in your arm)? Did it affect your nursing supply? Did you gain weight from it?

I got the copper IUD. I like it. No cramping. I haven't had a period yet since I'm EBF so besides the insertion bleeding, that's not been an issue

I had it for years before we decided to get pregnant. I absolutely loved it! I had no complications from it. However, taking it out was not as easy as putting it in 😳. I haven’t had it while breastfeeding, best of luck to you.

I just got it ~6 weeks ago (baby was born 1/24) and no complaints. Still EBF with no supply problems. Only “issue” was bruising and sore where the implant went in for a week but it’s been perfect since then. Glad I did it!
