One week postpartum

It’s been one week since I have birth to our son and my Inlaws still haven’t made an effort to see come see him. I had a c- section so it’s not like I can just travel to go see them. They didn’t even bother to drive 1/2 hour to see us in the hospital either, again with no reason. I’m done with it but for hubby I’ve stayed in my lane . But my in laws were like this for our daughter too, never had a reason for not visiting either. Just selfish, poor hubby would ask them why and they would never have a good reason, I mean they don’t even work full time. And these and their only two grandchildren, my SIL would have to ask me to hold our daughter and then hand her to mil because she would ever ask. When I ask mil if she wanted to help me by changing our daughters diaper she said “ew no I’ll get my hands dirty”. I was able to put up with these people before but now I see they are some really f* up people. And then they give hubby the guilt trip because he asked them to come earlier to visit because we know they would come late and stay late or ask to spend the night. Because hubby said they we don’t have room for anyone to spend the night( we are a family of four now and have just our bed and our toddlers bed and our sons crib) not to mention when they visit they bring the whole damn closet and refrigerator with them. My hubby is so sweet when he talks to them too, I’ve told him I’m not afraid of his parents so I need to talk to them ask find out what the hells the problem I’ll do it and without their daughter the (filter) there.
