Grammar is a sign of education and intelligence. And if I can’t have an intelligent conversation with him or her, it’s a major turnoff.

If they don’t know the differences between your and you’re or their there they’re.....it’s a big NOPE from me. Not gonna let an uneducated fool pass those genes down to my children. We’ve all been taught the differences over and over in school so there is NO excuse to not knowing.

Unless English is like their second language or something, it just looks lazy. It’s not that hard to take the time to write out the whole word or use proper grammar. So yeah it depends, but it can definitely be a dealbreaker for me.
