How would you deal?

Recently a friend of mine's husband had an affair. Aparently this had been going on for some time. Like three years with the same person. Well my friend had no idea this was going on. He told her last week that he had been having an affair. He also told her that the other woman was having his child. This broke my friends heart because she found out about two years ago that she can't have kids.  He told her he was okay with it and that they would get through it together. They have been together for 12 years but only married 5 even though they have known each other their entire lives. Now he is telling her that he wants a divorce so he can be with this other woman. He still wants to be friends with her after what he did.
