How did you tell your mom and mother in law that you don't want them in the delivery room? They're both just assuming they can be in there and I'm totally not wanting that. My mom and I are very close but she lives a few states away, so since she won't be there for doctor appointments she thinks it's only fair she's there for delivery. My MIL lives down the street from us practically. My SOs totally a mamas boy and she doesn't take no for an answer. Her husband just passed so she's especially clingy and crazy with us having babies. I know it's my delivery and I call the shots but how do I tell them and make it stick? If I could have security guards hold them back I would, that's how sure I am that regardless of what I say they will help themselves in.
