Chemical pregnancy

I had a chemical pregnancy last week...got a positive on 7.2 at 16dpo, started spotting on 7.3 at 17dpo (2 days after AF was due) and then full on heavy bleeding on 7.4. I'm finally no longer bleeding but my question is, is it normal for temps to stay high for a while after a chemical? I stopped temping while in bled but when I took it this morning it was still way above my coverline from last cycle. I'm hoping it regulates soon so that we can try again this cycle. My HcG was only at an 8 when I started spotting so I would think it's back down to zero by now...I go in for a redraw this afternoon to make sure
