If anyone else is dealing with a tongue tied newborn and/or struggling with breastfeeding, let me know. 😩 I need to feel less alone in this struggle. Unfortunately, I don’t have much help from our lactation consultant, she completely failed me both times when I reached out to her. First, she missed his tongue tie and didn’t even help us with our latch... Secondly, when I complained of unbearable pain (I’ve had my nipples pierced-that was less painful than this) she just handed me a nipple shield and sent me on my way. I’ve been on the verge of giving up but I can’t bring myself to. I just need some support or tips. Thank you 😅
