best ways to start changing diet for the better

I've cut out soda and fast food. hubby and I are ttc. I've lost 60+ since the birth of my first daughter (over 2years) but I'm still overweight. My heaviest when I was pregnant was 270lbs I'm now at 205lbs. my goal would be around 170lbs. I'm at the point where I have a lot of skin and little bit of fat left.
