Hair Stylist and pregnant?

Any of you ladies hair stylists? What are your plans for going on maternity leave? I'm just curious as I just started a position in a salon.

I am a hair stylist and I have nooooo motivation to work period! However I'm working only three days a week and I plan on working probably until like 32 weeks it until my doctor says I can't work anymore!

I'm a self employed hair stylist. So I work a few days a week. But my main job is a musician, once I have baby, I will be having a few months off from both jobs. My husband works full time, and I'm entitled to a maternity allowance, so we should be okay for a while.

I worked as a hair stylist when I had my 1st 2. The 1st time I worked in a chain salon so I just took my maternity leave. I was aiming for 8 weeks but I went back after 6 as a call in if someone was sick or they got too busy. Then after 8 weeks I went back to my regular schedule. With my 2nd I was working booth rent so I had to pay booth rent for the whole 6 weeks I was out. That sucked!!!
