it depends on your hair and what kind of red. i have dark brown/black hair and turned it fire engine red with no issues but thats just my hair. oftentimes a hairdresser has to actually work with your hair in order to find out how its going to react

If you have really dark hair, lighten it first,l. Red faded VERY quick, so good luck

if you want it a deep red, super easy. if you want a bright red, not easy. to get bright red you absolutely have to lighten it first which can damage the hair and turn out bad if its not done correctly. red fades out quicker than other colors so as long as youre ready to keep up with it, go for it.

Do whatever you want to ur hair. But it’s a process to get a lighter and turned into a different color. I would lighten it every couple weeks not all at once.
