We live in Los Angeles, which is about an hour and a half to 2 hours away from where we've planned a little babymoon in Ojai.

We were hoping to travel on April 27 and I'm due May 11. I haven't had contractions or any complications thus far. My OB said she'd check my cervix the week before our trip and that, if I'm not dilated, I should be fine.

Here's the caveat: my last labor (16 years ago) only lasted 4.5 hours. Although, I should mention, I was induced.

My husband will most likely follow my lead and go with whatever I think is best. Our friends think I'm crazy. What do you think? Would you go?

I'm completely willing to head home if I start feeling "off" or to the hospital if contractions start in Ojai.
