Anyone ever heard of losing there baby same day that the first ultrasound found a strong a heartbeat??
Hi all, just was wondering about something. A few weeks ago at my 6 week ultrasound we went in for our first ultrasound Bc of the fact that I had a previous miscarriage at 8 weeks back in December. Anyway the baby measured at 6 w 4 days and had a strong heartbeat of 135bpm. Then we went back at our 9 week appointment last Friday and found out there was no heartbeat... baby measured at 6w 4 days. I went back today for another ultrasound just to make sure before my D&C; tomorrow... and yeah the baby measured 6 w 4 days. On top of being devasted I also find it very weird that my baby died the same day that we saw a strong heartbeat. Does this seem right??? We have an appt to see fertility specialist on Monday to do testing etc since I’ve already had two consecutive losses and I will ask them this of course but it just makes no sense to me that this baby’s heart would have stopped literally hours after everything was perfectly fine. I’m wondering if the transvaginal ultrasound caused something to go wrong??
