Do you call your husband/bf Daddy?

The shit is just weird to me. I mean if you didn’t grow up with your Dad it’s understandable. But if you did, who the hell wants to call their SO daddy, especially during sex. If I said that I would then think of my actual dad. 🤢

and I always wondered what KIND of daddy the cake was for.

I don’t call my bf this but I don’t judge those who do. Do you ever call your bf/husband “baby”? You’re not thinking of him as an actual baby. It’s the same with “daddy” when used during sex. It’s a name that makes someone feel dominant. Like “baby” makes someone feel cared for.

I couldn’t , it’s a personal thing. I could never do that. If I had kids,  and was talking to them about their dad .... I would say “go ask Dad” or “go ask daddy” 
Purely because I’m speaking with my kids. 
But other than that , nahhhh.

I've been with my husband for 10 years. I used to be the same and feel weird but I've been married to him so long that it's just normal for me now to call him that. he loves to be called daddy in the bed because it makes him feel powerful. I've never thought of my dad when calling my husband daddy. also grew up with my dad and never called my dad daddy he was always dad or pops

My dad is an abusive POS. My fiancee is an actual dad. And I asked if he was into that thing. he visibly cringed and said "please do not do that." And that was the end of that. I call him my king and other pet names but NEVER EVER calling him daddy.
