1 year old activities?

What do you do with your busy 1 year old all day? It seems like she doesn’t want to sit still and play with her toys anymore and she’s been getting bored really easily. How do you guys keep your 1 year olds entertained?

Bubbles; I don’t mind them being blown in the house, they also have machines that automatically blow them..my 11 month old daughter can be entertained for a good 30 min with them

Also I agree with the comment about taking them out...my boy would just run and throw himself in dirt all day if he could...I suggested indoor stuff cuz weather is still bad in my area and has been too cold and gloomy to go outside most days...up in New England, we have had snow in April three times already...last time was icy mix...sucks

I have flash cards that I practice words with and a small collection of books he like me to read to him...also the color wonder books allow me to let him color by himself without worrying about getting marker or crayon on a bunch of stuff...he also likes to play hide and seek with the curtains but he made that one up on his own...

Ball pit, finger painting, sensory stuff ( I used to put jello, rice, ice, cotton balls and pipe cleaners in bowls and let my son stir it around with big spoons or he would just stick his hands in and play. Outside we had the lawnmower that blew bubbles which definitely helped burn some energy.

Bubbles, paddling pool (weather dependant of course), chalks, paints, stickers! My son loves hands of activities and always has, he's barely been interested in sitting and playing with toys! He's 2, 3 in July and he's only just starting to want to play with toys properly now but still prefers being active! If youre looking for places to go then the park, swimming pool, the zoo, a farm, the aquarium is an absolute fave of my sons and has been for as long as I can remember! I've just found that anything hands on & that involves my son getting stuck in has kept him occupied for as long as I can remember and still does! ☺️✨
