First birthday present

My sons 1st birthday is coming up and I want to get him something that he’ll have forever. When I turned 1 my parents bought me a beautiful solid gold bracelet and I’ll love it forever and if I have a daughter I’ll give it to her. I want something like that but a bracelet would be weird for a little boy. Any ideas?
