Is being a tall female (5’10 ish +) intimidating, attractive, or just average?

I’m 6’1” and I get a bunch of mixed responses from guys and my friends, so I’m just curious as to what other people think about it.

Girl I’m 5’10” and I feel so awkward. I practically hate being tall. Mainly because any guy I’ve ever liked has been shorter then me and it bothers me. My sister is 5’5” (barely) and I would switch her heights ANY day. I actually looked up one day to see if theirs anyway to stop growing or even shrink. Yes you read that right. I knew the answer already but figured it couldn’t hurt. I’m almost 19 and since I didn’t get my period until I was 16 1/2 I’m still slightly growing and I’m SICK of it. I don’t understand why I’m still growing cause most girls stop within a year of their period. I just have a very hard time being confident with my height. I used to be short until about my sophomore year in high school and I would much rather be short. But putting all of this aside when I see other girls as tall as me or even taller I don’t think of them as I do myself. Guess I just have double standards lol. I think of them as normal where I don’t myself. I hope your confidence is better then mine!!

I think people are definitely intimidated by a tall woman. I’m 5’10” so the shorter end of the scale and people make comments. My husband is 6’2” so we’re both just tall lol. I wouldn’t say unattractive though except to some shorter men. I know some men don’t want to be with someone taller than them due to stupid societal ideals.
