Absolutely! My husband and I first started talking in April 2011. We really hit it off but I had just gotten out of a 5 year relationship so I wasn’t ready for anything new. He was also in the process of prepping for a deployment later that year. So it ended up not going anywhere. He then reached out again in July 2012 about a month after he returned home from deployment. We lived 900 miles from each other, I was in college, and he was going through a lot from his deployment. I was also in a new relationship at that point. So again it went nowhere. And then he reached out one last time in June 2013 and that was it. I was in the process of escaping an abusive relationship and had just graduated with my first college degree. I was living with my dad for the summer while I decided on my next move so I was in an in bwtween stage in life. I decided my next move would be North Carolina to see my (now) husband. We eloped 2 months later and have now been married almost 5 years 😍 we had some horrible timing the first two attempts but I’m so glad he kept trying.

I think (in the nicest way possible) this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Meeting someone at the wrong time? It just means you two need to grow and better yourselves but you can do that together

Yes! And I keep meeting that person at the wrong time over and over again. I don’t know if I’ll ever have a chance to be with her :(
