Normal??

Question

So I got my tattoo Friday and I accidentally scratched it today. It's got a rough texture to it too right now. Is this normal?? Will my tattoo still turn out okay?? I'm putting A&D; stuff that they gave me on it everyday. Should I stop and start using lotion??

That's definitely normal, it's just scabbing, which means it's healing the way it should just do not tear or pick at the scabs and skin pealing off you will pull ink out and your tattoo will become patchy. I do suggest trying to switch to Aquaphor it will keep your new ink hydrated and allow it to heal the way it needs and should soften the scabs a vit
