boys name thoughts

so 2 of our faves on our list for our baby boy (due in 7 weeks) are LENNON and HENDRIX. only having one bub so he would only have the one name but we are conflicted as to whether we are going to get "oh like John lennon/Jimmy hendrix" or the question whether it would be named after them....totally not. just names we love.... would love your initial thoughts, would you immediately think of those people??
