One miscarriage, two d&c

Miscarriage followed by d&c; in the beginning of march. Had one period since then and waiting for a second one in a week. Well today i went for an ultrasound and they told me that the doctor at the hospital left some placental tissue. So now I’m waiting for af to show up and maybe the tissue will come out. But if not, have to get my second d&c.; I’m so sooo frustrated. I was hoping my doctor would give permission to try again. And I’m scared what if they damage something during the procedure. Could you please tell me if anyone had gone through something similar?
