Go straight to IVF after one failed IUI?

Thoughts? I’m 42 and worried about age and time and money. I was due to test this coming Monday but yesterday AF came to town. My Doc had said we should try at least two rounds of IUI but now I wonder, should I just go straight to IVF process?

I would not waste my time on iui, because of age.  My Re told me to go straight to Ivf because I was 39 at the time.  I would recommend doing ivf with pgs testing and era biopsy.  I wish someone would have given me this advice, it would have saved me a lot of time.  My 1st round of ivf produced 6 embryos, but they were transferring them on the wrong day.  This is why era biopsy is such an important test to take.  Good luck 🍀

That’s an insurance guideline and medical practice — my insurance won’t cover IVF unless I’ve done 3rounds of IUI good luck

Saw my Doctor yesterday we’re going to try round two of IUI this time with letrozole.  🤞🏽 I’m feeling good about the decision.
