Feeling baby??

Hey! I am 17 wks and 3 days. My OB told me yesterday that there’s no way to feel the baby until 20 weeks or more. I told him that I felt little flicks and butterflies around 16 1/2... he said it’s all in my head. Now I feel crazy 😓!!!

Lol sounds like your OB is the crazy one! It’s totally, definitely 100% possible to feel baby that early. With my first, I felt bubbles/flutters at 14 weeks (was skinny back then so it was very obvious to me).  Now with my second, I felt it at 15 weeks & definitely knew it was baby.

I’ve been feeling fluttering  since week 15/16 and real kicks since week 16/17. Plenty of places online that confirm that it’s possible. It has a lot to do with the placing of your placenta and how you belly looks. They probably say week 20, so you don’t feel “wrong” if you don’t feel anything earlier. 
I say: If you feel it, it’s not in your head - what a mean thing to tell a pregnant woman. 😊

You’re not crazy!! You’ll know the feeling, it’s just so different, and then it’ll become a pattern. Weeks 16-20 you can feel the fluttering, but everyone varies. I’m 19 weeks and recorded it, because my bf thought it was all in my head😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Not true. I started feeling movement at 15 weeks

My doctor said you can feel flutters between 16-18 weeks after that they get stronger! I felt my baby kick at 17wks she told me I just have an active baby that’s all

My nurse and doctor also told me it’s very early when I said I’ve been feeling kicks for about two and a half weeks. I’m 19+3.

your ob is flat out wrong. I have felt little  jabs since 14wks that have just gotten stronger.

I started feeling baby around 15 or 16 weeks and I just turned 20 weeks and had my appointment at the beginning of this month and they asked me if I have started feeling baby move. And I told then yeah but not all the time and now I feel the baby all the time.

Super late on this one but i felt my now almost 3 year old daughter move when she was 6 weeks and that's why I tested.. My ob didn't believe me but idc i know what I felt 😍😍😍
