Crib in house is it bad luck?

Hey guys! We got a bargain of a crib today for baby I am 20 weeks is it bad luck to bring it into the house?

I'm almost 18 weeks and we've bought most of the big stuff. I never thought about it being bad luck. I didnt even know this was a thing.

I don’t think so. Some people do - it’s up to you! You could ask a friend to store it if you’re not comfortable having it in your house before the baby is born.

im not sure but i dont think so..my daughter had a basinet then a pack n play even though she had a convertible crib lol just never opened the crib bc we didnt have the space for it n now with my son I'll probably use the same pack n play with him

I put up our crib super early. It was the crib we used growing up so my dad brought it when he visited for the holidays. I went ahead and got it all set up to make sure it wasn’t missing any pieces. No problems here!

I don’t think so. I think it makes sense to do as much as possible in 2nd trimester because the further along you get, the less energy and mobility you will have.

Not at all, with my first we got a great deal and got it at 14 weeks. I had it set up in the room by 24 weeks. Had a healthy pregnancy and baby boy.

Thank you all so much I don’t feel as nervous about bringing it in the house now ☺️ we don’t plan on putting it up yet I think people just try and scare you haha! Will bring it in and store it until we are closer to put our due date!
