I'm 37 weeks pregnant with a induction scheduled at 39 weeks! I started a new job when I was 10 weeks so I do not qualify for FMLA, short term disability or maternity leave! I'll be lucky if there's a spot open for me when I'm ready to come back to work since my job isn't willing to hold my position open for longer than 2 weeks which is totally understandable! Since we found out we were expecting we've saved up money since I'll be unpaid in the weeks after delivery, I work 3 13 hour shifts a week and I just honestly can't do it any longer. I'm a nurse and always on my feet, I come home with a backache and swollen feet. If I started my leave now is that being selfish? Just worried about living off our savings and my husbands business.

Also, I've talked to my place of employment and if I can't give a 2 week notice they understand knowing my situation.
