When will my scar look better?

I’m 7 months pp and my scar is still raised up and an obvious pink/purple color. Will it ever become less noticeable?

My first child was an emergency c section and for 2 years my scar never faded. It was raised up and a deep pink color. With my next child the c section was planned and my doctor cut the old scar out hoping this time it would all heal better. I’m 2 months post surgery and it’s already fading.. it’s not raised and it’s a super thin line. I think my first doctor didn’t do his job right

Yes. Takes years, not months. But it will nearly totally disappear eventually. Just be patient.

I've had 3 and they all nearly disappeared eventually. i can't remember exact months pp though. My youngest is 11 months and my scar is only noticeable if you know it's there.
