Birth Control Weight gain.🙄

I started taking birth control about 4 years ago and gained about 20 lbs when I started. I am soooo self conscious about my body now that I can hardly stand to look in the mirror. I discontinued my birth control about a month ago and am really struggling to lose the weight. Please help!!
