ANIMAL ADVICE!!!

hey everyone i need your furry advice. So my bf and I are staying in this hotel and we just saw a mom with her kittens that are about 5 weeks old. my boyfriend told me not to call the shelter and the couple who've been to this hotel on an off for 5 years knew the mom since she was a kitten and can actually hold the kittens. But i want to give those kittens a good home and the cat is on her 5th or 6th litter.... What should I do? I dont want to call a shelter for them to be killed.
